It's quite wet for sure. I've been out once, but didn't get back off the road. Did see some tracks though.

We were over at richloam a few weeks ago and the green swamp was looking... you guessed it WET, you beter have a 4x4 or some good buddy's if you plan on hunting either place. I picked up a permit for gun season.

I went to green swamp to go scouting a few days ago it was not that wet. It seems to be really wet if you go the day after it rains alot. About a month ago when I went to Green swamp there was spot that the water was up to my knee in the firebreak and last week it only had a few inches of water .

I got a 4 x 4 ..and tried it out at Three Lakes..It's my first one and I was very impressed. It's simply a Ford Ranger 2005 but my scout was guiding me through some stuff that looked impossible..She rolled right through. If it wasn't for him..no way I'd done that.,.some places were 2 foot deep in water. not one spin out.and mine does not have a lift kit or huge tires.
Here she is..

Great looking truck there chuck.

The main roads arn't that wet but If you plan on getting off the beaten path a 4x4 is a good idea and you never know when its going to rain 2 inches and get things sloppy out there.

Thank you sir..Last year during turkey season I had to park off the road at the Green Swamp...and it was very mucky..she had no problems..about 3 times fishing this year she was stuck..I just switched the switch to 4x4 and it came right out. I use to drive a jeep in the army and this is every bit as good ..so far.lol
