Deer antler growth progression?

I seem to recall reading somewhere that a buck puts on about 20% growth from year to year until they reach about age 5.

Can anyone confirm this? Seems like it is a bit high, 20% on a 150 would...

Well, I just couldn't stay out of the woods.

Got out for about 4 hours this weekend for a bit of shed hunting, still seeing bucks running around with both antlers,so I wasn't real optimistic on...

I think that the EAB program in WI served a purpose, but the numbers that the DNR is basing it upon is a bit out of wack right now.

The amount of deer I have been seeing has been decreasing...

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe porcupines will also eat sheds, I suppose the size of the critter working on the shed will have something to do with how fast that particular shed disappears....

I don't know if I really agree with that, if the area is open enough that it really doesn't matter where the deer stops, I will try and stop them, but where there are certain 'windows' where the deer...
