It's always a group of them out there when i see them. Thanks for all the detailed info. I would have never thought that they were that sensitive when it is still dark.. I get out there about an hour...

They Roost on the property that back up to ours and they come across to feed in the field. I'm not sure of the path, but I will keep that in mind. I will try not calling and see if that helps. never...

Yeah its definetly a hybrid of some kind. I didn't know that ducks get together like that. I assumed that ducks staywith their own species. I guess it happens though.

My roomate and I built a platform in a group of 3 oak trees. One of us (or both sometimes) hunt in it every weekend. We shot 7 deer out of that stand this year. I love that stand.
