i can hunt one of my stands everday.i overlook a pipeline. its in a funnel area, bordered by a creek, cornfield, and hayfield. where im at scent isnt a real big factor because of all the houses and people. the deer also work through the woods in both directions, so that helps alot. i have never sat in this stand and not had deer in bow range.

I will only hunt a stand for and aftenoon and morning. I like to go to a stand that has sat for a few weeks in the light just incase a tree branch fell. I would hate for it to get light and notice that my lane is plugged up by something. So to answer the question a total of two hunts.

I hunt some public ground that getsso much pressure it doesn't matter if you hunted the same area for weeks. I hunted the same area 7 days in a row, moving my stand (climber) inside of a 60 yard radius, and on the 7th day, I killed my avatar buck.
On the other hand, I hunt some private ground that gets no pressure. I don't huntthe same spotmore than 2 or 3 days in a row.

I think it completely depends on the situation. Normally I don't want to hunt it over 2 sets. But in the rut in certain area's during the rut where deer travel far (5-10 + miles) then hunting a stand for many consecutive days isn't a problem. If it'sa hot spot then stay with it, as long as the area will support that type of hunting.

My roomate and I built a platform in a group of 3 oak trees. One of us (or both sometimes) hunt in it every weekend. We shot 7 deer out of that stand this year. I love that stand.
