Sauer,

For what it's worth, my best accuracy comes with remington copper solids, but I shoot an Ithaca.

Tink, pause, bang?

Hey all,

Just loaded my first rounds for a .223. Got to the range today. I could hear the firing pin hit, then a brief pause, then the round would discharge. I would appreciate any comments....

Max bullet weight VLS .223 remington?

Hey all,

Just picked up a Remington VLS in .223. Has a 1:12 twist. Based upon experiences, what is the max grain bullet this can handle?

Thanks,

My 2 best accuracy loads are 130 grain Sierra gamekings over 45.0 grains of Varget, and 130 grain Nosler Accubond over 54 grains of IMR 4350. Individual results will vary. Both go sub 1" on 3 shots....
