Default 16 guage

does anyone know if they carry this guageon the shelf at Dick's Sporting Goods? If not, does anyone know where I can order some game loads in 16 gauge for a decent price?

Personally, I have never seen 16 ga at any store in recent memory, and to be honest though, I haven't been shopping for it. I do every now and then, depending on the sports store, if it is one that I have not been in before just take a look to see what off the wall ammo they have.It helps me for future reference when i need something special that I can't find say at wally world. IMO if they have the specialty ammo, then I can expect that they will have some of the other more specialized euipment too.

I recently bought a couple boxes of 16 gauge game loads ( 1 oz # 6 shot) at the local ****'s... They did not have a big selection , but the price was reasonable...

You can also buy them mail order from places like Natchez Shooter's Supply and Midway...

I never gave though to the mail order for them. Good idea. Like i said, i haven't seen them in the stores, but I haven't shopped for them either. More a casual look to see what is there.

My local Di*** has a limited selection. Our Kmart still sells 16 gauge ammo and it is decently priced. Have seen them at our walmart but not all the time. Gander Mountain has a large selection if there are any near by.

16 guage is making a comeback. I owned an old single shot 16 guage for several years and the ammo was pretty thin, but now I am noticing it more and more in the stores. At the gun shop where I go most of the time they have quite a selection of 16 guage shotguns now, quite a few new ones too.

I regularly buy from these places. Never had a problem with any of them.

Not locally here.

Great gun though. I have an old Browning Sweet 16 that was my father's. My favorite bird gun.
