Used the 100 gr in a 243 didn't care for them the 75 and 85 hp's were great though.

I load the 85 grain for my .243 remington model 7. I was getting 3.5" 100 yd groups with 100 grain corelockts. I get .8" groups with the HPBT over IMR4350, And just did a little better with them over Varget, but gotta shoot some more groupsbefore Ideclare the Varget a better load.

I load them in 140 gr 270 Win and 165 gr 30/06. I haven't recovered any bullets from game since all shots have been broad side lung and all penetrated comepletely. The deer have not moved out of their tracks when shot

I load the Speer Hot-Cor's only because I think they are a bit tougher than the Sierra's; however, the Sierra's have consistently been the most accurate in every caliber I've handloaded.

Thanks for the Replies everyone.I am going to get me some and try them out.Im sure they will shoot more Accurate, and consistant compared to the lead tipped gamekings.Plus being they are non tipped I can move them closer to the lanes and they still fit in my clip.Good luck to everyone this year.

I shoot the 165gr out of my 30-06. Only made 1 kill with them so far. Large doe in the neck at 30yrds...nothign to recover as it blew a hole right through...needless to say she didn't go anywhere.
they seem accurate also. get just under 1 inch group (3shots) 57grains for H414

I've used Sierra Gameking 165 HPBTs in my 30-06 for deer and have been very pleased with their performance.

As a side note, they're extremely accurate!!!!!!
