RE: Pulaski County Late Archery Action?

Does it seem that the deer are starting to run a little bit more freely now that the rut is over? Or are they still all couped up?

RE: Dead deer in public view???

Ok, well what about us hunters who don't have room enough to put our kill inside a vehicle? We pull a trailor behind our SUV. Does that still count as "Showing off your kill"? If it does, that is...

RE: Westport, IN - Hunter shot and killed

RE: landowner is tired of deer

Yes shoot does. It does help, especially if all you see is doe and no bucks. But, if you are seeing bucks, you should probably try to get the older ones. Let the young ones grow up. I would say not...

RE: Question About Predatory Animals...

Yeah, I knew that, I was just asking if you let your kill sit over night and you come back the next day and you see a coyote eating it, if you could shoot then.

RE: what do you think a true hunter is?

Hunting isn't about taking a life from the Earth. It is about what you give back to Mother Nature. You give her and the Earth respect and you will be payed off in a big way. I think it is all about...

Question About Predatory Animals...

Is it legal to shoot and kill a coyote out of season if you feel that the deer herd on your property is being deminished by a largepack of coyotes? Or, is it legal to shoot andkill acoyote out of...

RE: SOuthern INdiana Bucks not moving

Same here! But this year the first day of shotgun, we didn't see hardly anything. It was horribly warm and the wind was blowing like 50 mph it seemed anyways. Then when you get two idiots shooting...

RE: SOuthern INdiana Bucks not moving

Well, hate to say this, but the movement up north has been minimal if little at all. I have seen three nice bucks chasing doe, but that was in early archery, I don't know, this year they are just...

RE: do you feel bad?

Yes I agree with what Skeeter said. I love watching them as well. Sometimes it is surreal to see how majestic and beautiful they are. Also how they move through the woods amazes the crap out of me!...

RE: do you feel bad?

RE: Cover scents ???

We wash our clothes in Baking Powder...(arm and hammer, it works!) Then when we get to the woods, we spray scent killer on us, just to make sure. No scent wicks or lures for us!

RE: Do Scent Bombs REALLY work?

I have absolutely no faith in them! We set some up and the deer came up to it and sniffed it and then ran away! Blew us off also. We didn't see anything the rest of the year.
