what do you view in his qualties and actions of a true hunter do you think its someone that knows everything about guns and has a sweet shot or a person thats goes out to have fun and dosent care if he gets anything and stuff like that what u think i personally think its someone that goes out to have fun with family and friends dose not care if he gets anything but he dose have smarts about the bush and knows how to be safe

Personally, I think a "hunter" could be any one person that hunts wildlife, but it is different to fall under the catagory of a "sportsman".
A sportsman should be ethical: understanding, responsible, patient with others that don't hunt, obey all the rules and regulations and be fare to the game.
Being an expert shot, and great tracker/scouter comes extra to me. I am mainly out there in the woods to enjoy God's creation, and if allowed a good shot, then I'll definatly take it, but If I don't bring something home, I don't think myself a terrible hunter and a failer.
I love to watch wildlife, and try to learn to perfect my calling, and learn their behavor. I'd rather do that then sit all day trying to get a shot at the "Monster."

My opinion, A true hunter is one who pursues game in an ethical fashion. He/She does so to enjoy it, for the heritage. And a true hunter must see how lucky he is to be out in the woods, whether seeing animals or not.

a true hunter is someone who gets out into the woods not for the kill, but for the chase. one that is happy just to be there enjoying God's Creation. they should try to make the best and most ethical shots and ethical things.

A "true" hunter would be a person who hunts and forages for survival. Lions, Cheetah, Human ancestrial lineage and branchs prior to Human emergance, and humans prior to agriculture. Today there are very few human "true hunters". The vast majority of "hunters" are sport hunters. How many of us could eek out a existance living off the land alone? during an ice age? Our ancient forefathers knew more about hunting when they were adolecents than we will know from a lifetime of "sport hunting".

A person that respects wildlife and the conservation of wildlife. A person who helps and suports wildlife habitat. A person who takes care of the land and animals. A person who kills as humanely as possiable. A person who respects the hunting regulations for the state in which he/her hunts.

needs to be safe and want to have fun

A true hunter can be busted by the animalat any moment.
A true hunter practices for any shot situation.
A true hunter doesn't get a second shot.
