Default Cover scents ???

I've been bow hunting for some years now and sometimes I get inthe stand when the winds are wrong and deers usually smell me before I can get a shot off. I was wondering if you guys use any cover scents? what kind? and do they work?

We wash our clothes in Baking Powder...(arm and hammer, it works!) Then when we get to the woods, we spray scent killer on us, just to make sure. No scent wicks or lures for us!

Fresh Earth discs on the ankles and collar , Deer Dander misted all over the shirt/jacket and pants . No matter which way the wind blows you'll have a non-threatening smell . Both also seem to have a mild attractant quality too .

I don't know what to tell you. some may balk at what I think about buying into all the hype about cover sents and things of that sort. I guess if you think they work then try them. I'v enever used them and have had great sucess in hunting deer. One thing I do not do is shower before I go hunting. I do leave my clothes outside but other than those two things, I don't do anything else.

I use no cover scents or attractants and rely on hunting the wind.My hunting success has been just as good or better than peoplethat I know that go as far as to use special sprays and scents.

I dont use a drop of cover scent. I have had the wind blow right to the deer and they never paid me any attention.
