RE: any of you hunt coyotes??

I killed one with a 22, but I think I got lucky, put a shot right behind his ear, died within 30 yds.

I haven't skined one, I think it might be like skinning a dear or raccoon. I will probably...

I boiled mine for a couple hours, and I also added two bottles of peroxid. I think it helped to whiten the skull.

After eight years I got my first turkey. All the near misses, the almost there, just dumb mistakes and bad luck. I got one.

I told my wife that was the most exhilarating and exciting experience...

RE: your first deer

My first was small eight pointer, taken with a bow, ten years ago. Just happen to be a buck, would have taken a doe if it had been unlucky enough to come by first. I have taken over 20 since then,...

reverse thread

Is there a way to make an adjustment to allow a new post on a given subject to show first?

A bit inconvenient to go to second or third page to see if any thing new has been posted

RE: scope and open sights

I change barrels on my 870 from deer to turkey every spring. Every fall I have to resight. Sometimes not much, but I don't feel right if I don't check it before deerseason.

What binoculars do you use in deep woods/

I seldom get a shot more then 100 yds, so I don't need a pair that will see from Waco to Dallas. What power do you forest hunters use?

RE: Have any of you ever seen a white turkey?

They were to far away to see if it was a hen or a tom. Since there were five or six together, I assumed they were hens. I will certantly be paying closer attention come April.
