Default Some A- hole tore down my stand

Bow season came to a end this weekend in IN. I walked the familar trail to my stand Sat morning( my own property). I glance up from time to time looking for it's outline against sky. After a while I realize it isn't there. My 15 foot ladder stand is laying in two pieces on the ground.

Some one had gone to the trouble to bring a bolt cutter, and cut the chain,. and push the stand over.At first I thought maybe vandals, but what would they gain. Seems like a lot of trouble. But then maybe they had intended to steal it, and found it was to heavy to drag out. I have never had a problem with my neighbors, so I doubt it was any of them. The closest farm does let outsiders hunt. Thats the only thing I can think of.

I sure would like to find a way to get even.

Sounds familiar except my stand, pegs, harness, and feeder was all gone.

Being an optimist, I see two good things about your story.

1) As previously pointed out, you still have your stand.
2) At least they waited for the season to be over.

With that being said I hope you find the sorry sob.

It's pretty sad when some people have to ruin other people's property just to make themselves feel good. All I can say is that this person really has to be a jerk to destroy private property.
