Piston Point

Well i made the leap and thought i'd try these new fancy broadheads called piston points. I never used expandables and expected these would end up laying on top my gun case with the other broadheads...

Buckshot can be deadly at close ranges. Probably up to 40yds but every gun is different.Buckshot definatley can waste more meat. Slugs are probably the most prefered but i suggest shooting them...

I see nothing wrong with baiting as long as it is legal. Also helps to fatten deer up. We bait/feed deer all year.

I agree i wouldnt bother with a scope unless you have a rifled barrell. I have a cheap CVA called the buckhorn, i bought it from walmart for like 100 bucks. I threw a 50 dollar special scope on it....

Well depends on what you like, if you've shot muzzleloader before? i know some muzzleloaders if equiped properly with the right scope and everything can reach out to 150yds+ and i know some guys...

The 12G Ultra slug with the heavy barrel. The thing must weigh 20lbs. but yes it groups well at 100yds also with the lightfield hybrid slugs.

I may be way behind here but i just purchased H&R Ultra slug shotgun combo...to sum it up...WOW. This is an amazing firearm. The accuracy on this is unbelieveable. Looking forward to hunting with it...
