I'll just echo Meanv2's opinion. I shot better with the Guardian than the Tribute. It was quieter with less kick, and felt better balanced. I was able to hold much tighter groups at distance.

Generally that is true but there are some exceptions. I don't have the #'s on hand anymore, but some bows are so much more efficient with lighter arrows (near the 5 gr/lb range) that the speed...

Looks were the main reason I got it. The better than average performance just happened to be a nice perk. I had to do something to ease my withdrawl symtoms while waiting on a 30"...

It picked up 3 fps acrross the board at every weight I shot, once I rigged the strings correctly. The new speeds are:


350 gr = 303 fps

360 gr = 298 fps

380 gr = 289 fps

453 gr...
