It is a lot harder to take a yote with a bow than a rifle. If you have never killed a yote before than use a rifle the first few times than if your up to it use a bow. If your calling in them that is.

Iowa does have a lot to offer. I saw at least a dozen bucks over 140 this year but i hunt on some prime peaces of land. Also it doesn't seem like there is vary many bow hunters around either.
