RE: Drives vs. Stand hunting
I have killed only 4 deer in my 2yr. hunting career, 3 of those have been shot while I was in a stand or standing. Drives can be efective where I hunt in Maine because it's thick in some places. Stand hunting can also be very efactive here. I think driving can work well to those who have quick reflexes, and to those who do it right. I could have killed a number of deer during drives if I only had quicker reflexes. So I think it depends on where you hunt and you abilities.

RE: Drives vs. Stand hunting
There are positives and negatives to both stand hunting and drive hunting. I prefer stand hunting. It's proven very effective for me and my family. Don't rule out drives though. When run properly, they can prove very useful as well.
