How often do you buy a new bow?

5 years with the bow I currently shoot. Before that, I was buying a new one every year or two.
Kinda miss getting a new "toy" every year, but I've come to appreciate the comfort level that comes with keeping one for a long time. If my budget permitted, I'd probably still get a new one every year or two, thought I might still end up hunting with an older one.

I get 2 or 3 new ones every year. Been shooting so much for so long, I get bored if I don`t have a new one to play with. I guess I`m just lucky that once I set up a new one, it feels just like all my other ones. I`m comfortable with it right away.

I have been bow hunting for several years now and I am on my second bow. The first was to get me started and this one is from what I learned. This one is suposed to last a lifetime(or till I can convince the wife otherwise).

I buy at least one new one each year, my wife doe not like it but atleast I keep inventory down to no more than three at one time. My last 7 purchases have all been Mathews.

I use to get one about every ten years (over the first 30 years hunting). It seemed that over that time frame, advances in technology would demand it. Then all of a sudden, I got a bow two years ago, one last year and now I'm looking for another this year.
I use to shoot much less than I do now. The more I shoot, the more I find myself wanting a specific thing in a bow. If my current bow doesn't have it, then I find myself buying it. Sounds like the beginnings of an addiction.
