a Browning BPS is the most reliable and well built gun for the money. I can shoot mine as fast as any semi auto and it never jams. go simple but get a quality gun. Browning is worth it in the end....

I read this book from Cabelas on the subject and it helped tremendously.

I think it was called Tracking Wounded Deer or something simple like that. The guy who wrote it isa genius. Look it up...

i had the EXACT same problem using that fletcher and glue.

Just switch glues...it works best with a super glue type. i use the AAE stuff in the little tube...don't know what it's called....

Everything you mentioned works great!!!

My best load is 90-110 grains loose Pyrodex or APP and a 300 grain XTP bullet. I have outshot the Shockwaves with XTPs in my gun.

I had a very similar experience this past weekend. I shot a doe about 30 minutes before dark and thought I had a great shot. I shot and heard a thump, and then saw the deer almost fall over right...

Well, I checked everything that seemed a reasonable problem. Everything was in shape----the stock had no cracks whatsoever, the barrel was not loose. The only thing that could have caused the problem...

I have never shot a 2 inch group while swabbing......

Explain that!!! Everyone claims that swabbing is so mandatory but I swear my best groups were without it.

As far as I can tell, there was NO difference in the load and shooting system than there was before.

I guess that's just MLing. Some days you get it, some days you don't!!!

I did notice that the APP gummed up in the barrel very badly. It was extremely moist in the air......
