Default Daughter's Muzzleloader Buck

My 11 year old daughter killed her first deer with a muzzleloader on opening day of TN season. In fact first time she has ever shot a muzzleloader. 7 point, big body. I was just as excited as when she killed her first deer last year which was a 7 point also.

Outstanding... I just love to see kids getting involved - especially if they are taught the ethics of the whole thing... Man that is neat....

That's great! You can sleep soundly knowing, no matter what life sends her way, she will never go hungry.

I think the smile on the face of the young lady says it all... what a great picture. Most of all what a great experience and memory the two of you now share. Hang on to those because they are the real treasure of the hunt.

Congratulations young lady. You did a fine job of promoting your sport, while at the same time made some real good table fare. That is an excellent buck you shot there. Perhaps you'd be willing to tell the story of the hunt, like how far the deer was, etc. And some of your secrets of what rifle you shot and what load you used, etc. Then an old duffer like me might stand a chance for a buck like that.

Again, congratulations to you both!!!
