I would think almost any brand would do you just fine out to 150 yards, i dont know who makes your .270 but i used to hunt with my fathers Savage .270 and had good success with winchester powerpoints...

I would say 90% of the time i still hunt, I think its most effective if you have a general idea of what your deer are doing, plus, where i hunt here in KY its pretty thick so its a very challenging...
