I am hunting here in Oklahoma and the temperature was in the upper 80's yesterday and in some places lower 90's. I've heard alot of guys say the bucks aren't moving because of the heat. My perspective is that you will never know when that buck might creep past your stand. I would hunt the heat, the cold, the rain and the snow.

Because we can hunt all year around in New Zealand we learn to hunt all weather.I find that the deer are generally at higher altitudes and more active from late evening to early morning in the hotter months of the year.

Just remember, the hotter is it, the more the deer will have to drink. If you have a water source to hunt, I would be nearby. Does will come to drink and bring the bucks along to scent check. Good luck, I thought I had it rough with it going to be in the 50's this weekend.
