I havn't shot it myself but from what I have read it suppsoe to be faster than a 300mag and hit harder than a 338 mag so that sounds pretty impressive to me and if you don't reload your own ammo it...

Both are very good cartridges but go with the 30-06 I just liek it more and u can get much more bullet grains for it as well and it has a larger casing so if you homeload them u can make the loads...
