I just picked up a Remington 700VLS .243 with a leupold 4x12x40, sling, and case for $639. I tryed to find a flaw on it but couldnt not even a little ding or scratch. It was never even sited in so I took it out yesterday with just 100gr core-locs and it shot great. I'm thinking I got a good deal.

Whats everyones favorite 243 bullets. I have to order some dies so I can start reloading for it. anyone got some pet loads they want to share.

look into the barnes triple shock bullets

Use the "Search the Forum" feature up top in the brown. Type in '.243 bullet' and restrict the search to the "reloading" forum. You'll have all the info you could want about bullets and powders.

I use to shoot a 243 and now use it mostly for coyotes and we shot all our deer with barnes X bullets, I'm interested in trying the bear claw loads as well my freind shoots those and has some tight groupings with them
