225 Yard Ground Hog Kill!!!
hey everyone two days ago I killed a ground hog 225 yardsaway he was eatingour turnips when i killed him. info below
Range: 225 Yards
Caliber: 243 Winchester
Bullet: Hornady 58 Grain V-Max Hand Load
Rifle: Ruger M77 Compact
Scope: Leupold Fixed 4x
Results: I was very pleased with the V-Max bullet it blew his insides out from top to bottem. My 243 did a wonderful job as well! If you are looking for a varmint round the one i used worked great you should try it

Congrats. I got a 200 yarderwith my .308 a couple of weeks ago. What a great feeling it is to walk up there and see them laying there and know that you were able to make that acurate of a shot.

Very nice shot man congrats.When I got my first new rifle about a month ago and when at the target range I had one bullet left and at about 150yards there was a gopher and I got him with my winchester M-70 30-06 with a 2.5-8 power leupold scope I hit the head and blew it clean off tell you what for this being at the range for the first time wit hthis gun it was a very nice shot.
