They are definatly worth replacing or if fps is your concern replace your leaches with Top Gun Archery's String Chubs. Minimal to no speed loss, just as good if not better vib. control.

You can change cams, but I know its a lot of work. After changing cams you have to find a string and cable to fit and that can be a job. None of the pro shops in my area will even attempt that job.
