Yes there are dogs north and south of Presho. Problem is the whiny ranchers want the dogs taken out but they want $150 or more per day per gun. As far as I am concerned I don't go shoot them anymore....

I would bet that it is a mallard/pintail crossed back to a mallard. Some mallard/ pintailare mules and can't reproduce but some can. Only a DNA test could verify this.

The Swamp Collie is correct. You shot it and if you think it should be put on the wall by all means do so. One reason that the duck was on the thin side may be that it did not have a pan of feed set...
