Mallard/pintail crosses do exist,, I dont understand why anyone thinks that pic is fake. I had a mallard/pin hybrid land 15 yards from me a couple years ago while fishing in the spring.
For those that say fake,, explain too me what these 2 ducks are? And before you say these are fake... Ican get Kirk Miner too tell you he had his hands on these birds himself, and they do exist!

Yes that is indeed a mallard pintail hybrid. I have raised wild waterfowl for a while (since 1963 or64 under a federal waterfowl propagation permit) and have seen several of this and other hybrids. They are not common but do happen. Good to take these out of the gene pool as a certain number of them are fertile. Hope you got it mounted. Good hunting!
