RE: How Good is PSE X-Force

I haven't shot it my self so no real input, but a few guys I see at the range shoot it and love em...they still have them and they are guys that upgrade all the time...if that tells you anything.

RE: Limbdriver or Whammy for my situation?

I have a Whammy and I don't have any problems at all. Took a little tinkering but I love it. But I also have a buddy that switched from Whammy to Limb Driver and he (like many) swear by it. I'd...

Yeah, I'd definitely roll no peep tubing. Loud and just something else to break/rot. If you want some color on your peep get a G5 they're blue and are great in comparison to the peeps needed to be...

RE: Hoyt used bow Opinions please

I'd at minimum go to a dealer and see what your draw length will be and see how comfortable you are at the different draw weights...that will help let you know if the bow will "fit"

RE: What is your favorite release and why?

Scott Little Bitty Goose....RCS system. It's fully adjustable and smooth. I like velcro b/c it's all I've ever used. Went to buckle and couldn't keep it, went back to velcro.

RE: Poundage then and Now

I went down to 60# on my new bow as well, last three where 70#s....agree I like the 60# draw a lot more, but I'm no beefcake so it was an easy decision.

RE: Whammy on letdown?

That's a good tip...I got new prongs for mine so I have to readjust the rest anyway. I'll have to test out the cord with less tension. Makes sense though. Thanks Muzzyman.

RE: Whammy on letdown?

The potential is definitely there....I had this issue right after I put the rest on. Drew back on a decent buck and had to let down. Didn't think about the bounce effect until it was a little late....

RE: what do u think?

IMO you shouldn't have any limitations. My buddy has an outback and stacks arrows on top of each other at 45 yards in, which is all he shoots.

Congrats and good luck.

RE: release mechanism

I got a new Scott Archery Little Bitty Goose off of ebay for $47. I love it and it will fit on a snug d loop. It has total adjustablity and the trigger is awesome...very light.

Check'em out.

RE: Doing some upgrades...

Rest - I would go with Limb Driver or Whammy. I have a whammy and have no regrets, but where I hunt is super thick and I didn't want the long Limb Driver string.

Sight - I have friends w/ G5...
