RE: Missouri Youth season report?

Tough weekend. I convinced my 13 year old son to pass on a young 8 pointer Sat morning and it went downhill from there. He is still upset with me!! I am amazed at how hot it has been.

RE: mechanical broadheads

I used spitfires for quite a few years (85 grains) and never had any complaints with them. I got caught up in the hype about the latest and greatest and bought half a dozen 3 blade 100gr Rage heads....

RE: General or Allegiance

I have a 07 Ally, and I jumped at the chance to shoot the General as soon as it came out. I really liked the General, but I wouldn't have traded my Ally for it. I think the extra weight of the...

RE: Grand River Outfitters?

I hunted with Don on a late season archery hunt this January. The weather was just horrible for hunting, with days in the mid 60's and a heavy wind almost every day. Despite that, Don had me on deer...

RE: texas hog hunts?

Stay away from wildhoghunttexas.com like the link says. I took my 11 year old down there last spring. It was a very poorly run operation. Food wasn't very good, lodging was poor and not a lot of hogs...

RE: Importance of speed?

Personally I like a bow shooting between 275 and 285 fps for a hunting setup. For me that speed seems to be the best compromise between shootability and trajectory. When I exceed 300 fps my groups...

RE: Anybody shoot a 2003 Hoyt CyberTec

I have a 2003 Cybertec with the Cam & 1/2. I have been very pleased with it. It is a great overall bow and I have killed many deer with mine. I don't think you can go wrong with this one as a starter...

RE: Best Drop Away Rest for Hunting?

I have tried the Rip-cord and the QAD ultra rests. I prefer the QAD. I like being able to let the bow down without the arrow falling to the shelf. I have hunted with the WB in the past, and it has...

RE: spot hogg - wrap or fitz fibers

I'm still not 100% of which way to go. It seems...

RE: 2007 vs. 2008 Allegiance

2007 vs. 2008 Allegiance
