We are looking for a hog hunt for 2 fathers/sons. Would like to have the option of bow or rifle. Would prefer northern part of TX to keep the drive from MO as short as possible.Would prefer a hunt that includes lodging and meals. Doesn't need to be a trophy hog area, just want to make sure the boys in on some good action. We are trying to foster the love on hunting in them and nothing does that better than seeing lots of game. Looking at the weekend of Feb 15-17th since the boys are out of school the following Monday.

I have a hog hunting ranch in N.E. Texas about 1 hour from Texarkana. I do weekend hog hunts (Friday eve.-Sunday) for 300.00 per person with meals and lodging. I am booked Feb. 15-17, but have the 2 weekends after that open. If you are interested you can email me at [email protected] or call 903-249-4850 Thanks, Donnie Hays

We hunted a place in Omaha, Texas which is in the Northeast section of the state. I believe it is called JP's Bowhunting Ranch. It is a bow only place tho so I'm not sure if that's something you want, but it was a blast! It is fenced in, but with a lot of acreage. They had several stands already setup and the amount of hogs was not a problem. They were everywhere. From St. Louis it is still probably an 9hr+ drive.
There is also a Ranch near St. Robert(Ft Leonardwood), and you can use a gun there, but i have no experience with this place.

Thanks for the replies. The school schedules are making it tough to get a hunt together. The boys really want to go out of state (I think it increases the cool factorwith their buddies!!) for the hunt. Would also consider an Arkansas hunt if anyone knows of a good place.
