Live2draw, I do have a hard time believing your g.f's bow is shooting that fast with that arrow, draw length and weight. If it is true than that bow would be rated pretty close to 290 or 300fps at 28 inch's. My wifes parker micro pheonix set at 52lbs with at 26inch draw is only shooting about 218 with a 350grain arrow. Im not for sure about this but I thought the micro pheonix was a faster bow than the buckshot. I could be wrong though.

It's called Binary Cams (the camsare anchored to eachother, instead of the limbs, in an infinate loop), and the let-off could matter. I'm thinking about getting an Equalizer myself, it seems to be a good bow from what I'm hearing..

My daughter shoots the Equalizer at 44#, 258 grain goldtip ultra 600's at 258fps. She has no problems drawing or holding the draw and it is very forgiving. She got a new bow so dad didn't and then had the audasity to whup my butt with it last night at our local indoor 3d range.

The Bowtech Equalizer
Draw 27" / 60lbs / 300 Grain arrow shoot 302 FPS When I chroned Mine.

I lowered mine to 25.5 draw 60lbs and was still shooting in the 280's fps area with my Tournament Arrows/ and 260's fps with my hunting arrows

The Bow will only max draw at 27.5 including the D-Loop in that measurement / and Max weight available is 60lbs.
The Equalizer is not available with the Smooth Modules / it is Speed Mod only. Keep in mind that it has an ajustable letoff with a extremely nice solid back wall and a bit of a stacking draw cycle.

It's an Excellent Choice for the shorter draw archer looking to increase their speed as well as Kenetic Energy.
For the Shorter draw archer the Equalizer is a Win Win situation ... they can lowerer their poundage on the Equalizer from what they were shooting on a previously owned slower bow and have increased arrow speed and kenetic energy.
