Here in Texas you can hunt Elk all year if you so choose. Southwest/west Texas has a very large Elk population. All you need is what is called a five day exotic permit. That permit covers everything...

Before you guys turn it on about feeders....this is south Texas and we hunt over feeders....end of story.

We do charge a day fee if we put you up in our lodge and feed you. About the same as you would pay for a hotel and three good meals per day. If you don't stay with us there is no "by the day fee."
