Hi Phil, Yes I was really hoping that one would of jumped out of the water. Those Steelhead jump to try and shake the hook off. We had a number of them do that when we were fishing off the shore....

Same here in CT. Last weekend it was raining acorns this weekend it was still coming down but not as much. Proabably another week and thats it. Seen lots of deer but no monsters yet.

Great.There are 3 of us. 2 of us will come with a Rem .270 and the other fellow with a 300 win mag.

I am also noting about the packsack with our misc stuff (camera, toiletries, etc...) also...

Yes we are limited to 75lbs. So I might just be wearing a my heavier stuff on the plane. We are kind of limited to Sleeping bag, backpack and small duffle bag. In total 75lbs.

Excellent! I'll be sure to bring the knee high boots. My Medium weight boots are insulated 600 gram. Should I look at 200 - 400 gram boots? I don't have any lightweight ones because here in the NE...

Instead of investing in a arrow saw package what do some of you cut carbon arrows with? I am thinking a dremel but I am sure some sort of jig will have to be built to ensure the cut is a 90 degree...
