Agree but disagree. To many does in a area can actually hurt the herd. If your ratio is 30 to 1 or ever 15 to 1 then your chances of actually seeing a buck decreases rapidly. One doe in the rut at...

I also would'nt worryto much about it, alot of hunters i talk to agree that deer are pretty much used to the smell's of burning. Deer dont ussually associate the smell of a campfire with people.
