Firearm season for Mich. opens next Tuesday. Kinda fired up for this one, were headed toda U.P. tonight and get things ready for the opener. Looks like the weather could be kind of great for this year, cold a little rain and snow, let's keep them little doggies moving. Good Luck to all 700,000 Mich. firearm hunters.

Sleep is hard to come by these days. I can't remember when i've been so excited. I'm currently living in Illinois so have been away from it for the fall and it hasn't been kind to my concentration! I too have the whole season off and am heading up monday afternoon to hit the big woods. We have some trail cam pics of a couple good bucks so hopefully we can get them on the ground. I can't wait either. We've been hunting the UP opener for almost 10 years now. Last year stunk. Warm weather and a full moon....blah! Looks like we will have mother nature cooperating this year! I sure hope sp. Good luck to all. Only 1 day away!

Now there saying a winter storm warning for the Western U.P...6-12 inches.

It should make for an excellent week hunting, man there's nothing better than hunting whitetails
