Shot low at 35 yds and just hit fat...Then he stood at 25yds so I was able to get another arrow nocked and make it happen!!!

This deer had a full 1.5...

Missouri Archery season 2011

I have looked on the Missouri DC site and they have not posted the dates yet. Last year was Sept 15.......is that a norm or does it change year to year??

Breach Plug Questions?

I have a CVA Optima .45 that I shoot for deer season. I was cleaning it today(season is over for me) and after cleaning did not put the plug back in.......Does anybody else store your muzzleloader...

I used te boone and Crockett websight to measure and it came up with 138 4/8 gross and 132 6/8 net....tis one is going on the wall....he dressed out at 215 lbs...BIG DEER!!!!

The measurement that need to made is the horizontal distance to the target. How far is the deer from the bottom of the tree? Wheather you are 50 ft up or 10....the 20 yd pin is the same. Gravity...

I had a buck 2yds in front of me on the ground...just the other side of the corn row...I was sitting on a milk crate and after I shot the buck stepped within 18 inches of my foot before he took off.

it is tough to hang for long this early in the season.....i cut up my own meat and bag....i use a room a/c unit and point it into the carcass if i have to let it hang thru the day....keep my garage...
