Default Need suggestions

It is hot as heck here and everytime I'm in the woods, I see nothing! By the time I get up in a tree, I'm sweating like crazy. I'm trying to be as scent free as possible and hunting the wind but no luck. Help!!

Where do you hunt? Do you use a feeder? Is there any deer sign?

Hunt in Ga. Near big lake, plenty of deer sign. Gone early, and stayed late, till dark. Can't use feeder, illegal here. Saw LOTS of deer here last year, but not so far this year. Do I just need to wait for cooler weather?

My suggestion would be to travel as light as possible both in terms of what you are carrying and what you are wearing. In addition, go especially slow on the walk in and the walk out. That should help considerably.

I've hunted in hot weather, I wear my leafy bug suit over shorts, keeps me nice and cool. Good luck in finding the deer, cooler weather should get the deer moving.

My bet is, is that if it's pretty hot, most of the deer are going to move at night. But when it gets cooler you will see more.
