Thumbs up 2017-2018 Picture Post

It is that time again.
Here is a place to post your pictures, and story about the hunt.
Please no pictures with bloody animals.
This is to promote hunting not to give the antis fuel.
Tell what you shot, when you shot it, and how, the story behind the hunt.

If there were enaugh interest, I would do another contest.
But there is/was not enaugh interest, and people sign up, to never come back.

Have a good and Safe season.

Can this be hunts from last year? Or are you looking for the current year 2017-2018?

10 pt
Watched him eat 3 ears of corn
Shot low at 35 yds and just hit fat...Then he stood at 25yds so I was able to get another arrow nocked and make it happen!!!

This deer had a full 1.5 inches of fat between hide and rib cage....most I have ever seen.

Good start to the season!

He'd run that fat off during the rut. I've seen thick fat on early season bucks before. But they're usually pretty lean by December. Nice one!

Finally got around to scoring this one...He only went 141" I try to keep it 140 and up so I cut it pretty close. Not bad for a short tine 8 point though.



and more importantly 6 days earlier my daughter got her first deer
