I understand. Natchez has some good clearance prices on some name brand scopes. Millet is a big question mark for me. Others like Bushnell, Weaver, Burris, etc... aren't.

I've used Permathrine on Gore-Tex lined hiking and hunting with no issues that I can tell. It bonds to the fibers so I wouldn't think it would affect the breathability, or at least it hasn't for me.
