Barnes TSX (triple shock) You can get a factory load from Federal in a 160 gr. This bullet will do the job and then some.

I started using them a couple of years ago and they are an awesome bullet. Ive taken Mule deer and Elk with them and this fall I will take a bear (hopefully). They do quite a number on the animals....

Hey thanks for the replies, looks like the cost came into play quite a bit more than anticipated. So were scheduled for a hunt up near Orfino ID. Its my first Bear hunt and i'm very excited.
