Hey guys I duck hunt alot and it does not get any slippery than any wet gun.To keep it from cracking just oil it like you would your gun.It will peel alittle but I've had made on my gun for four...

TATE, IT TAKES ABOUT 2 HOUR TO PUT ON .I LIKE THE WAY IT LOOKS .IT HAS LASTED ME 4 DUCK SEASON (MUD,WATER,MORE MUD,AND A LITTLE MORE WATER)AND STILL LOOKS GOOD.

I've got both the 870 supermag and the older 835 mossberg.the 835 was worn out in two duck seasons,it jammed all the time safety broke and the wads would stick in the barrel it was a bad two seasons...

I have a mossberg 500 and 870 supermag both are very good guns the 500 is cheaper but very dependable.The 870 is a good gun also but cost more and looks a little better.

jwl427,I have to agree with you save the jakes and next year you have more gobbleing and bigger birds.I live in Arkansas and you can kill any bearded birds but I always pass on the jakes.

Well I have to go with the Summit Cobra it is by far the best stand I'v erver had easy, light and quit.I personaly did not like the big chain on the API and it was a little heavier.

I would look at CAMO CLAD also It's been on my gun 3year now and i tend to abuse my gun during duck season and it's held up the best.At the price of $20 bucks you really can't beat it.

I don't know anything about the Triska SK,but I do know the Gladiators 100 do get the job done.I shot a doe and the gladiator left me a awsome blood trail.
