.That is my pellet count after i polished my barrel myself,the work paid off,choke is 660 ported Hastings....

Browning 10 gauge BPS #5's I am getting about 28 to 33 at 40 yards with the browning Turkey X full.

I think that some one hear needs to recheck there 40 yards again or maybe enter there self into the NWTF still target championship<img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle>

40 yards should be the max and i would say at least 3 to 4 pellets in the vital kill zone!!!

Just to clear things up,i measure my yardage with a tape line,i just might go into competition shooting,why? would i lie to ya about my pellet count? For those that doubt Wish you were here,Buy a Remington.....

totoe, I believe you. I'm going to give the winchester #6's a try. I can get up to 30 or so with the #4's, which is adequate. However, I can't help wanting to improve. Thanks for all of the responses. I'll post my results with the 6's in a couple of days.

My 1187-26&quot; ,winchester #6 ,Remchoke Turk x full. It pops about 11-15 in the vitals at 40 yd. I haven't lost one yet. Though I like to have coax them to 20 yards or so.
How do you guys get that many ?

Here's 35 yards Winchester no5 and a Hastings .665 choke , I just took the gun in to have another choke made to see if I can better it...B
