Love my supermag. Never tried Browning, but don't have to because I love my supermag.

They are both good guns. The advantage to the Browning might be that it has an overbored barrel.

I like the remington's they are tough & last for years.

I've got both. My BPS has a 28" barrel and I use it strictly for waterfowl, and my 870 has 24" barrel and I use it strictly for turkey hunting. Other than the barrel length, the other advantages my 870 has over my BPS for turkey hunting is lighter weight, synthetic stock & matte finish, vs. wood & blued finish. I think the BPS is a smoother gun, it feels better in my hands, and I like the safety location and the smoother chamber release mechanism, but you're going to pay about twice as much for it over the 870.

i am sold out on remingtons. for the price differance i just think a guy cant go wrong with the supermag.

I have one in advantage camo. great gun , well worth the money.

Great gun. I have the short-barreled, black synthetic model. I've never been dissatisfied with a Remington. Good luck.
