Yeah, if you look close in the picture above, you can almost make out on his front left shoulder where the arrow to the shoulder entered. I believe he uses fixed blades so it's not like the Rage...

I've never forgotten straps or my bow, but I did leave my binoculars in the truck once. I felt somewhat naked without them. It's crazy the things we rely on sometimes.
