I prefer thick woods where there are small "openings"... they're great for spot& stalk. Or the edge between hardwoods and a strip of wood that was cut a few years back and is growing back into thick...

I havent done much hunting with buckshot but therifled slugs from Remington have worked well for me. They're accurate enough out to 50-60 yards, which is plenty for deer. And I'm guessing they're as...
