1. Sighting in rifle immediately before the hunt and shooting practice in the months before the hunt. A trustworthy rifle/sight weapon.
2. Time on the hunting ground, particularly the RIGHT time on the hunting ground like from 1 hour before sun-up to 2 hours after sun-up and from 2.5 hours before sun-down to last shooting light.
3. Remaining motionless and moving very slowly when moving. Also, hunting into the wind and generally taking account of the wind.
