I have the CDL in .270. I had the trigger cleaned up and it shoots quite nicely with 130gr Honrnady Interbonds. The barrel does not like to be hot though.

As best I can tell, the copper streaks are at the end of the barrel as well. I don't have access to a bore scope to verify though.

Now, my problem is cleaning the copper from the barrel. Butches and 2 hours of labor still leaves copper...

Ouch!! I am staying under $200 for this. After I am sure he will like hunting then I will spend some bucks but for a starter gun it will be either the NEF or the Rossi.
