not in montana unless i just took it, but fish and game would have known and tried to get me for it. I did hurt my wrist bad reaching for my lady. hope it gets better before sept 4

to many griz and no sheep, so i wouldnt recommend anyone ever put in for that tag. mthunter is nuts. but it will be nice for him to help pack out my sheep, and there are area in that country to use...

This is my buddies bull that he killed on Sept 27 on public land. A fourty yard shot put this bull down, only running 70 yards after hit. Green score of 328. Not bad for his first archery elk.

I have seen some times in Montana where there are over 300 in a field. The day i shot my 153 6x6 whitetail this year i may have seen 150 or so. Bow hunting i may only see 40 a day.

I live in Helena, there are alot of goats, but some of the spots are archery only. It is not that hard to get land to hunt in most spots. There sure are alot of big bucks in the area to. Good luck!

Montana has a unlimited Bighorn sheep hunt. Why dont people do this more? Father did it a few years back and they had luck. Montana is one of the only, if not the only state to have a unlimited sheep...

I shoot a 27 inch draw and i shoot a 27 3/8 inch arrow with out the tip. The pro`s say you should have about and inch past you rest with out tip, but i tune alot and 3/8 works for me....

Well the new fall away rests are great, but if you bow is properly tuned you dont need them. But then again they are so easy to tune. They sometimes make it hard to get another shot very fast....
