That sucks that your truck is written off... I know what it is like hitting large animals... I have been in vehicles when we have hit moose.

First off...glad to see you are ok...thats the most important thing. Man, your truck got totaled....hope your insurance is good. That was a nice bull...too bad.......was he in an area that you could have hunted him?

i dont get to keep it, the fwp got it and it will end up mounted in someones office. long as a bull like that dont go to waste. velvet makes a nice mount. i was up scouting for a friend that could hunt that bull. maybe a week to rest my back, then i better get scouting again. thanks guys

Dame thingtotaled my truck and could have very possabily killed me and my passenger and I don't get a tag to posses it?[:@][:'(] I think I would put that to a challenge within the legal system. Maryland lets you keep the animal after a collision. The locaL police or state trooper or game offical whomever responds to the callwill issueyou a road kill tag and the animal is yours to do with whatever you want. Maybe it's time to lobby the system to get that changed out there. Glad you survived such a crash for sure.

Magnificent animal! The velvet is awesome. I'm glad everyone was okay. A couple years ago on our way back from Canada fishing, we saw a moose vs Geo Prizm....That was not pretty!!!!
