RE: New Montana Record bull?
Im not sure if this is the Bull you are referring to because it was taken in 2000. but it is the world record and taken in Montana.
Based on information from the book Life At Full Draw, written by Gregg Gutschow about Chuck Adams....Chapter 5 page 122...The altlers grossed 425 1/8 and net scored 409 2/8 P7Y.
Page120 states that the Bull aged to be 8 1/2 years and according to Admans (else where in the text) who saw the Elk the year prior, it's rack had declined in size.
The Elk was killed on Sept 16th 2000 on public land.
Excellent book and interesting stories. A must read for any serious hunter or persons new the the sport of Bowhunting.

Chuck Adams beat THAT bull with another, even bigger world record. You can see the pictures on the REFLEXBOW website. I think he's just waitingg to have it panel scored, etc, before it becomes the new official world record.
Hard to believe someone who held the world record, went out and broke it with an even bigger bull. [:-]

Logs I don't think that is his 2000 bull but you can see all of his elk he has taken in MT if you go to the reflex bow web site and click on chuck adams. He has taken a real dandy each year for the last, I believe, five years. It is a great place where chuck hunts.
